Last weekend Cardento was declared horse of the year in Sweden for the eighth time. An extraordinary achievement for our - recently deceased - top stallion, which is fortunately still available through frozen semen.

In Sweden, Cardento performed incredibly well in both sport and breeding. Under Peter Eriksson, the stallion  won team silver for the Swedish team three times.
Cardento has been in Sweden mostly for the breeding service, where he has provided a large number of offspring. No fewer than 87 of Cardento's offspring have performed at 1.60m level.

At the Swedish stallion inspection in Flyinge, Cardento again received the highest honor, due to the huge and successful stamp that the stallion has been printing for several decades on sport horse breeding.
