Offspring of VDL stallions were successful at the provincial jumping Championships of Groningen. Champion of the ZZ-class was the Ahorn-mare Rolien, ridden by Claus Beishuizen, one of the riders of the VDL Stud.

In the Z-class was a double succes for S. Kuperus from Beetserzwaag, 2 of his breedingproducts became Champion and vice-Champion of the Z-class. Champion was the Wellington-mare Sangria, ridden by Erik Kruizinga, and vice-Champion was the Ahorn-mare Rhapsodie, ridden by Magriet Kruizinga.
