Cardento is titled 'Elite' by the Swedish Studbook:

Cardento has an internationally well-known pedigree for jumping. He has competed with lots of success at the highest international level. He received 3 times a Silver medal with the Swedish team: at the European Championship, the World Championships and at the Olympics in Athens.

The evaluation of his fairly young offspring has given him a very high breeding index for jumping. An extremely high percentage of his offspring has been placed in competitions. Cardento's offspring has been dominating all the competitions for young horses in the latest years concerning both quality and quantity. A lot of his offspring from his first breeding year are now competing successfully in 1.45 classes.

Cardento has 2 sons approved for breeding; Cosmopolite S 1021 and Cyklon 1083. In Holland one of his sons is selected for the Stalliontest of the KWPN studbook. Cardento has already shown a suburb breeding and the Stallion licensing. The Commission has decided to award him ELITE for his excellent breeding qualities.
