VDL Casa Grande placed 4th in the Grand Prix of Stromsholm in Sweden. This 1.50m/1.60m Grand Prix was won by the Landlord-mare Dicta MB, ridden by Emma Emanuelsson and there was a 6th place for another offspring of Landlord: Lovis, who was ridden by John Hickey. VDL Casa Grande, who was ridden by Jens Fredricson, was also placed 4th in a 1.50 m class and again 4th in a 1.40 m class.

Jens Fredricson also competed with VDL Santa Cruz, an approved son of VDL Corland. They became 2nd in the final of the 1.40 m class and were also placed 6th in a 1.40 m class.

With the Landlord-mare Lunatic, Jens Fredricson received a a 3rd place in a 1.30 m class and a 3rd place in a 1.35m class.

Also offspring of Cardento were competing in Stromsholm and they did well:
Capricorn (Cardento x Nuprimus), ridden by Fredrik Linell, placed 4th in the 1.40 m final and placed 3rd in another 1.40 m class.
Chicago J (Cardento x Magini), ridden by Josefin Strom, placed 3rd in the final of the 7years old horses. There was a 5th place in this final for Tindra (Indoctro x Jus de Pomme) and the 7th place was for Canthara (Cardento x Everest), ridden by Viveca Lundback.
