Jur Vrieling and the Emilion-son VDL Emmerton are the new Jumping Champions of Holland.

Jur and VDL Emmerton were 3rd on the first day of the Championship, on the second day they placed 4th and that brought them at that moment in the leading position. On Sunday, the final day,  VDL Emmerton and Jur made only 1 timefault in 2 rounds and this made them the Dutch Champion of 2008. VDL Emmerton is owned by the VDL Stud together with the breeder Fam. S. van der Meer from Surhuisterveen.

Placed 7th in this Championship was the Corland-son Sir Corland, ridden by Wout Jan van der Schans.

There were also other successes for offspring of VDL stallions.

The Corland-mare Tersina ridden by Natalie van de Mei has won the Grand Prix of Mierlo. They were also 3rd in a 1.40m two phases competition.

The Corland-mare Tahiti, ridden by Joris van Helmond, was 3rd in a 1.30m two phases competition. The Marlon-mare Dopharma's Tibria, ridden by Koen Leemans, was 4th in this competition.

The Indoctro-son M�doc ridden by Inge van den Bosch was 5th in a 1.35m competition.

The Indorado-mare City Cargo Tindorette ridden by Willem Greve, was 5th in a 1.35m competition. And 9th in another 1.35m competition.

The Corland-son Tomahawk, ridden by Laurens Graper, was 10th in a 1.35m competition.

Van Schijndel's Kris (by Goodtimes) ridden by Piet JR Raijmakers was 8th in a 1.40m two phases competition.
