The VDL Stud has added a new stallion to their stallion collection: Comfortuna VDL.
Comfortuna VDL is a 4 year old talented and scopy stallion who is approved by the OS (Oldenburg). He was one of the best stallions at the stalliontest of Schlieckau 2012. He received an 8 for rideability, a 9,08 for jumping talent, an 8 from the test rider and a 10 for freejumping. His final score for jumping was an 8,85.

Comfortuna has a very interesting pedigree. Sire Berlin was high placed in several Grand Prix, won twice the Nations Cup of St. Gallen and won The Gold Team Medal at the World Championship in Aachen and at the European Championship in Mannheim. His first offspring are competing already at international level.
Both grandsires Nimmerdor and Celanojumped at the highest level and have produced many great jumpers and broodmares. Together with Rigoletto, a son of Ramzes, and Wagner they form a strong line for sport and breeding. After many years Rigoletto still is important for breeding.

Mother Solavsca Fortuna has the predicates 'Ster and Preferent'. She is mother of Listen, Champion of the hunters, and the 1.35m jumper Wosolavsca Fortuna. Grandmother Olavsca Fortuna is 'Keur, Preferent and Sport (1.30m jumper)' and she has brought Olano Fortuna, who was as a 4 year old winner of the Dutch Championship. He is a full brother of Comfortuna's mother. Greatgrandmother is Ulavsca, she has the predicates 'Preferent and Prestatie'. She is mother of 3 Grand Prix jumpers all sired by Nimmerdor: Partner SD, Handor Fortuna and Lost Boys Nandor Fortuna, who competed at the World Championship at Rome in 1998.
