There were great results for VDL horses at the World Championship for Young jumpers at the property of studbook Zangersheide in Lanaken, Belgium.

Davidson VDL (Harley x Chin Chin), ridden by James Billington jumped a fantastic clear round in the jump-off in the finals for 7 year old jumpers. He put down a fast time and ended in a 4th place. Davidson VDL is bred by Waaij Stud from Eemnes and the VDL Stud.

In the finals of the 5-year old Championship Dennis Gouvea ended with two VDL horses in the top 10; with Fitermo (Indoctro x Ramiro) he placed 6th and with Fleetwood Mac (Carosso x Lupicor) he ended up in 10th place. Fitermo is bred by the fam. Muggen from Ansen and Fleetwood Mac is bred by J. van Zon from Hulten. In 2nd place finished Keops v. Begijnakker (Indoctro x Lux), ridden by Yves Vanderhasselt. This 5 year old son of Indoctro is bred by stoeterij de Begijnakker from Belgium.
