Auction topper Uriena T (by Baltic) goes to Canada for € 22,000

The Wolden Summer Sale, the auction of top-bred foals that was held on Saturday evening at the CSI Zuidwolde, had a topseller in Uriena T. This beautiful filly, bred from Baltic VDL, fetched no less than 22,000 euros. The foal was bred by J. Tissing from Ruinerwold and really stood out at the auction. The buyers undoubtedly have high expectations, because the allocated bid came from Canada from a customer of Jan Broek, himself a horse breeder and also co-organizer of the De Wolden Summer Sale.

No fewer than nineteen foals were offered and auctioneer Louis de Cleene was able to make several buyers from home and abroad happy. The sale of Ubaltic M&M showed that the stallion Baltic VDL produces promising offspring. This filly went under the hammer for 17,000 euros and was purchased by a buyer from the Netherlands.

The average sales price of the foals was well above 10,000 euros on Saturday evening and the organizers and selectors of the De Wolden Summer Sale, Jan Broek, Janko van de Lageweg and Egbert Schep, were particularly pleased with this.
