Austria hosted the 4* 1.60m Grand Prix of Salzburg in which six competitors managed to qualify for the jump-off. Among them was the Getüt Obora-bred Cardento son Obora's Crunchy Nut with Markus Saurugg. The duo managed to stay clear in their 1.60m debut also in the jump-off and win more than €20,000 in prize money.
