BARCELONA - Great results were achieved during the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup ™ Final 2019.
Skara Glen's Machu Picchu (Silverstone x Matterhorn) and Paul O'Shea qualified for the Tokyo Olympics next year. They jumped a clear round in the 1.60m and became first with the Irish team.
This 12-year-old Machu Picchu was sold during the WEF Sport Horse Auction in Wellington, organized annually by the VDL Stud.
Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and ten-year-old Edgar M (by Arezzo VDL) finished third in the Challenge Cup with the Brazilian team.
Flip's Little Sparrow and Stephanie Holmen finished fourth in the 1.55m, while Desperado and Nicolas Toro finished third in the 1.45m. GB Celine and Rodrigo Gisteira Almeida came in fourth. All three horses are descendants of Cardento. In seventh place we saw Djoost Again (by Cantos), ridden by Eric van der Vleuten.
