Last week, the final of the De Wolden Cup took place at CH De Wolden. Here, the best 25 combinations of the competition competed. Okay (by Kallmar) proved to be the best horse over the entire competition and became Overall Champion of the five-year-olds. The Kallmar son is ridden by Kim Gudmundsson she rides for the VDL Stud and is bred by H.A.B. Hutten. On the day, the duo managed to achieve a nice third place in the final.
Among the four-year-olds, Plesman VDL (by Glasgow v/h Merelsnest) managed to achieve a nice second place in the overall competition. Together with Kim Gudmundsson, they secured the second place. The Glasgow son is bred by VDL Stud. The rider of VDL Stud also managed to secure the third place, this time with Pacific (by Liamant). The four-year-old Liamant son is bred by E.G.M. Goldewijk.
