The 4-year-old Pink Floyd VDL (by Conthargos) was the winner of the Swedish performance test in Ridskolan Strömsholm. The Conthargos son is bred by VDL Stud and is out of the well-known mare Cella (by Cello). Cella was ridden by Ben Maher at the highest level with team gold and individual silver in Herning 2013 as career highlights. Cella has already produced several approved stallions such as Point of Honor (by Conthargos) and Chicago Blue VDL (by Chacco Blue). Chicago Blue VDL is approved by the Holsteiner verband, Westfalen and Oldenburger verband, he is based in Germany and fresh available.
In the performance test, Pink Floyd VDL was ridden by test rider Fredrik Spetz: 'He is a really nice horse who, despite his size, is very rideable. The feeling with jumping was good and he feels like a horse for the big work". Emma Emanuelsson who also got to ride the young Conthargos said the following about the stallion: "He is very careful, has a lot of capacity and will probably jump a lot of big jumps in the future". Both riders rated the stallion with a 9.5.
