KRONENBERG – A successful show for the offspring of VDL stallions in Kronenberg. Riekemieka B (by Landino), Peyton VDH (by Cohinoor), Branttastisch HDH (by Brantzau) and Pablo Escobar KJV (by Carrera) all managed to win a class. Peyton VDH was even the best in the six-year-olds category on two days.
Two victories for Peyton VDH (by Cohinoor)
The six-year-old Peyton VDH (by Cohinoor) enjoyed an excellent show under Estonian rider Grete Veske. On Wednesday, the pair won the 1.25m Youngster Tour for six-year-olds with a clear round and a time of 32.68 seconds.
A day later, the pair were once again unbeatable. They remained clear in the second 1.25m class too and claimed victory. Peyton VDH (by Cohinoor) was bred by S.C. Guth and R. van den Heuvel.
Riekemieka B (by Landino) wins the five-year-olds’ class
Another offspring of Landino also jumped to victory. The five-year-old Riekemieka B, ridden by Johan Bergs, remained clear in the 1.15m Youngster Tour and thus finished top of the rankings. The KWPN mare was bred by J.A. Bloem.
Branttastisch HDH (by Brantzau) the best at 1.40m
On Thursday, Branttastisch HDH (by Brantzau) secured victory at 1.40m level. Ridden by Maikel van der Vleuten, he rode clear in the Medium Tour and clocked the winning time of 64.69 seconds. Branttastisch HDH was bred by Edgar Langen from Remagen.
Pablo Escobar KJV (by Carrera) wins the Youngster Tour
Pablo Escobar KJV (by Carrera) also added a victory to the successful week. Ridden by Salim Ahmed Al Suwaidi from the United Arab Emirates, he won the 1.30m Youngster Tour for six-year-olds. The Carrera son, bred by K. van der Scheer, rode clear and finished in 33.05 seconds.
