WELLINGTON - VDL Ivory (by Falaise de Muze x Ikato) and VDL Imar (by Carrera x Indoctro), both ridden by Daniel Coyle, became first and second respectively in the Turf Tour in Wellington, USA.
In another class VDL Ivory and VDL Imar were placed fourth and seventh.
VDL Icely (by Harley x Douglas) also won a class of the Turf Tour under rider Micheal Burnett. Just like VDL Ivory, VDL Icely was sold in the WEF Sport Horse Auction 2020 edition. VDL Imar found its new owner in the USA during the 2019 edition.
Every year, the VDL Stud brings a high-quality collection of sport horses to the annual auction, which is jointly organized with the Wellington Winter Equestrian Festival.
