VDL Clapton 3rd at 5-years old World Championship

VDL horses were in front at the World Championship for young jump horses in Lanaken.
The young stallion VDL Clapton (Caretino x Landgraf 1) became 3rd in the Championship of the 5-years old horses. With his rider Vitor Teixeira VDL Clapton was double clear in the final and in the jump-off he made the 3rd time. VDL Clapton, who is the half-brother of VDL Corland, is also approved by the studbook Zangersheide this weekend. The stallion Stoney Creek (Glennridge x Centaur Z), ridden by Willem Greve, was 13th at this championship and is also approved by Studbook Zangersheide. Stoney Creek is bred and owned by Heechhiem Stable from Burgum. Also qualified for the final were Casper (Cardento x Bonaparte), ridden by Victoria Lundberg  and Sirius (Laroche x Tolbert.

VDL Voice of Beauty (Indoctro x Bonheur), ridden by Vitor Teixeira, competed in the Championship of the 6-years old jump horses. Also Voice of Beauty was succesfull, he won the qualification class on Saturday. In the final he was clear and made it to the jump-off. In the jump-off he was the fastest horse but unfortunately he had 2 down. Also qualified for the final were Najed (Indoctro x Jus de Pommes), riden by Menell Watson and Candide (Cardento x Maraton), ridden by Erika Lickhammer. 

Next to the jumping championship there was also the stallion selection of the Studbook Zangersheide. The VDL Stud got 2 stallions approved, the earlier mentioned VDL Clapton and the 3 years old VDL Cogano (Contender x Lagano).
