VDL Arkansas (Acobat II x Silvano) and Broere VDL Pacific (Corland x Nimmerdor) have won both at the first day of the International Horse Show in Veendam.
VDL Arkansas won a 1.30 m class with his rider Wout Jan van der Schans. Third in this class was Summit (by Indoctro), ridden by Sandra van den Outenaar. VDL Arkansas was also 5th in the 1.30 m final class on Sunday. The Corland-daughters Dancing Queen and VDL Rocksina were also placed in this class. Dancing Queen, ridden by Julia Kayser was 6th and VDL Rocksina, ridden by Angelique Hoorn, was 9th. In a 1.30 m class on Saturday VDL Rocksina, Dancing Queen was 6th and the Glennridge-mare VDL Oraya, with rider Dennis van Tilburg, became 7th.
Broere VDL Pacific, also ridden by Wout Jan van der Schans, won 2 times and was one time 5th. One Friday and Saturday he won the 1.35 m class and in the final on Sunday he became 5th. On Friday One Way (by Indorado) became 3rd in this 1.35 m class. Nobel (by Indoctro) was 5th and VDL Ramina (by Nimmerdor), ridden by Jur Vrieling, was 7th. VDL Ramina was also 9th in a 1.40 m class on Saturday. In the final on Sunday Nobel was 3rd and Narcotique (by Jus de Pommes) became 5th in this class. In a Speed and Handiness class on Saturday One Way (by Indorado) was 3rd and Mystery (by Good Times) was 8th.
A 1.40 m class on Friday is won by the Good Times-son Just an Illusion, ridden by Franklin Postmus. Second was Audi's Olita (by Indoctro) and rider of the VDL Stud Dennis van Tilburg was 4th with VDL Platini (Freedom Z x Nimmerdor).
