The Orame-mare Vamina VDL received the highest score of the Mareshow in Drachten. Vamina VDL received 85 points for type and 80 points for movement. Vamina VDL is now 3-years old, as a 2 years old mare she was already Champion of the province of Friesland. Another successful mare of the VDL Stud was Rinderella VDL (by Caretino). This 7-years old mare, also owned by A. van Ittersum from Winsum, received 74 points for type, 75 for movement and in her maretest she scored 85 points for free jumping. Rinderella VDL is the mother of VDL Vicaro, the 3-years old stallion who is selected for the KWPN stalliontest.

There were more good results by offspring of VDL stallions in Drachten: the Indoctro-mare Verixt, owned and bred by J. Reitsma from Driesum, received 82 points for free jumping and is selected for the national final at Ermelo. The Goodtimes-mare Valanta, bred and owned by J. Luimstra from Surhuizum, received 77 points for type and 80 points for movement. The Flemmingh-mare Urianca had the highest points of the 4-years old mares, she received 80 points for type and 81 points for movement. Urianca is bred and owned by K. van Dellen from Opende. 

At the Mareshow of Appingadam were high scores for Vicky Leandros VDL, the mare is owned by J. Barsema from Winsum and received 76 points for type, 78 points for movement and 74 points for free jumping.
