VDL Olympia and VDL Sarantos both have won at the International Horse Show of Wierden. VDL Olympia (Silvio II x Orthos), ridden by Dennis van Tilburg, won an International class. Dennis van Tilburg was also riding VDL Sancho (by Corland ) and VDL Roloma (by Indorado). With VDL Sancho he became 4th in a Z-class (1.30 m) and with VDL Roloma he became 2nd in a ZZ-class (1.35 m).

The approved stallion VDL Sarantos (Emilion x Larome) won with his rider Gert Jan Bruggink an International class for young horses.

Angelique Hoorn was competing with VDL Rocksina (Corland x Emilion) and became one time 4th and one time 8th.

The approved stallion VDL Empire (Emilion x Lord Calando) was with his rider Robert Vos 5th in a 1.30 m class. Robert Vos also competed with the young stallions VDL Triumph (by Baloubet du Rouet) and Ultimate VDL (by Indoctro). VDL Triumph became 2nd in a 1.20 m class and Ultimate was one time 6th.
