VDL Veron and VDL Sarantos were winning the 1st round of the KWPN/KNHS Mitshubishi Stallioncompetition of Hengelo.

VDL Veron (Quite Easy x Caretino) was competing in the class for the 4-years old stallions. With rider Dennis van Tilburg he received the most points, for jumping he received two times an 8,5 andn two times a 9, for rideability he received one time an 8 and one time an 8,5. VDL Veron is owned by the VDL stud together with mr. van Ittersum from Winsum.

VDL Sarantos (Emilion x Larome)  was with his rider Gert Jan Bruggink winner of the 1.30/1.35 m class. He was double clear and the fastest horse in the jump-off. VDL Sarantos is owned by W. Bourgondien, Stoeterij Gaesbeek and the VDL Stud.  Second place was for the Chin Chin-son Chiquitin la Silla, ridden by Jeroen Dubbeldam. Tenerife VDL was also clear in this class and jumped very good but made unfortunately some faults in the jump-off.
