The Indoctro-son Always There became World Champion of the 5 year old jumpers at Lanaken in Belgium. Always There (Indoctro x Voltaire) and his rider jumped great, he made a clear round and was with 15 competers in the jump-off the fastest horse. Always There was ridden by Camila Mazza de Benedicto. The gelding is bred and owned by T. and L. Collins.
Placed 5th was the son of Caritano Z: Capitano Paul Z, ridden by Rodrigo Pinto de Souza.
The VDL Stud owned 3 horses that made it to the final of the 5 year old jumpers. The stallions Chello III (Contender x Sandro) with Marcel de Boer and For Fashion (For Pleasure x Contender) with Michael Ziems, and also the mare Ardenta VDL ( Cardento x Peter Pan), ridden by Cameron Hanley all jumped with clear rounds on Thursday and Friday. All 3 jumped great in the final but unfortunately did not made it to the jump-off.
The VDL Stud also had 2 horses competing in the final of the 6 year old horses: the stallion Zavall VDL (Casall x Emilion) jumped with Cameron Hanley in the final, they jumped great but had one down and VDL Zubizereta (Hold Up Premier x Nimmerdor) had 2 down in the final with his rider Dennis Gouvea.
In the final of the 7year old jumpers were 2 offspring of VDL Stallions placed by the best 10 horses. Placed 7th was Winde R.A.G, a mare by Sheraton, she was ridden by Kirsten Rikkert. The Indorado-son Whispering Hope, ridden by Willem Greve, placed 10th in the final.
