Sterrehof's Valdato 2nd in Grand Prix of Assen

Emilion his son Sterrehof's Valdato  and his rider Julia Kayser  were close by a vistory in the Grand Prix of Assen. The 9 years old gelding made a nice clear round in the jump-off in a fast time which placed them 2nd.

On Saturday there the 1.50m class was won by  Eurocommerce Damascus, a 9 years old mare by Cardento, ridden by Angelique Hoorn

International classes for Amateurs (CSI-AM):
Also at the CSI for Amateurs there were high placings by offspring of VDL Stallions:

2nd 1.25/1.30m: White Sox (Indoctro x Nimmerdor), rider Joukje van de Meer
2nd 1.25/1.30m: Alwin Z (Ahorn x Grannus), rider Sparky Frost
4de + 5de + 6de 1.25/1.30m: Vedette (Indoctro x Glennridge), rider Sparky Frost

NIC Cup
National riders were competing in the NIC CUp. The final of the 1.20m class was won by  Vienna,a 9 years old mare by Hattrick, ridden by Amanda Slagter. Placed 4th was  VDL Arizona (f. Indoctro), ridden by Dennis van Tilburg.
In the final of the 1.30m class  Zanea, a 7 years odl amre by Marlon, finished 3rd, she was ridden by Nella Bijlsma.
In the final of the 1.35m class Windsor, a son of Hold Up Premier, finished 3rd, he was ridden by Shanice Roozeboom.

Young Jumpers class sponsored by the Paardenkrant
On Thursday evening there was a competition for 5 years old jumpers. VDL Bacardi and Dennis van Tilburg were competing in this class and did very well. VDL Bacardi jumped impressive and made 2 clear rounds, he placed 9th.
