Leone Jei (by Baltic) managed to win the final of the World Cup in Basel. In the jump-off, the Baltic son bred by G.M. van Mersbergen and Martin Fuchs proved to be unbeatable with almost 2 seconds difference with the number 2. This enabled the duo to win over €34,000 in prize money. 4th place went to Elysium (by Zirocco Blue) with Hans-Dieter Dreher, the Zirocco Blue son was bred by Manfred Tummes. The top 10 was completed with seventh place for Iliana (by Cardento) and Henrik von Eckerman. The Cardento daughter is bred by J.A.M. Bocken.

Point Break managed to win over €170,000 in prize money with his ironclad rounds in Basel. Point Break is available from VDL via frozen.
Last Saturday the Grand Prix of Basel was also held. Here the VDL-bred Arezzo son Equine America Harwich VDL managed to finish in a great fifth place. He has been a duo with Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen for several years now, with many nice results.
