Douglas-son James vd Oude Heihoef fourth at the 3* 1.55m Grand Prix of Chard

With 16 jump-off candidates, it promised to be an exciting final in the Grand Prix of Chard last Sunday. James vd Oude Heihoef (by Douglas) managed to secure a nice fourth place with Abdullah Mohd Al Marri, the duo also stayed clear in the jump-off in a time of 35.79 seconds. The Douglas son is bred by Mark Herreijgers. Sixth place went to Imperial HBF (by Glasgow vh Merelsnest) and Tim Gredley. The L.J. Tinto-bred Glasgow vh Merelsnest son also managed to stay clear in the jump-off.

On Saturday, the Douglas daughter DHF Alliance managed to finish a fine second in the 1.50m class. Together with Geoff Curran, DHF Alliance (by Douglas) also managed to stay clear in the jump-off. Paul Douglas is the breeder of the Douglas daughter.
