OPGLABBEEK - The eleven-year-old mare Fliere Fluiter (by Zirocco Blue x Animo) and Jack Ansems (Ned) have won the CSI2* Grand Prix in Opglabbeek. H&M Kirlo van den Bosrand (by Cardento x Utrillo van de Heffinck) and Samuel Hutton (Gbr) finished seventh. This horse was bred by Luc Huyge from Maldegem (Bel).
Zaccorado Blue (by Zirocco Blue x Acorado I) and Max Kühner (Aut) finished fourth and sixth in the 1.35m for 8-year-olds. This stallion was bred by Tanja Schramm from Ilmenau (Ger). Important Style VK (Falaise de Muze x Calvino Z), ridden by Loewie Joppen (Ned) finished sixth and tenth in these classes. In a two phase class over 1.40m Zaccorado Blue finished seventh.
In the 1.40m level there was a fourth and sixth place for Emmely (Indorado x Heartbreaker) and rider Kathrin Muller (Ger).
Djoost Again (Cantos x Joost), ridden by Eric van der Vleuten (Ned), finished sixth in the 1.35m class.
Fenrir (Cardento x Navarone) and Kevin Thornton won the two-phase class over 1.30m.
The class for 6-year-olds was won by Pirocco Castaoo (Zirocco Blue x Diamant de Semilly) and Bart Anthonissen (Bel). Kick Off (Etoulon x Now or Never M) and Samuel Hutton (Gbr) finished ninth here. In another young horse class, Pirocco Castaoo finished third and Kick Off ninth.
Jackpot (by Zirocco Blue x Heartbreaker) and Albert Zoer finished third in the 1.30m class for seven and eight year olds.
