VALKENSWAARD - Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) took Grand Slam VDL (Cardento x Heartbreaker) to the CSI 5* in Valkenswaard last weekend and achieved excellent results. In the CSI5* Grand Prix over 1.60m they finished in sixth place.
But this was not the only good news. Harwich VDL (Arezzo VDL x Darco) and James Billington (GBR) finished fourth in the 1.45m Grand Prix.
Billington also scored highly with the approved Cohinoor and achieved a fourth place in the Medium final of the 1.40m.
With the seven-year-old Jourdain VDL (Zapatero VDL x Darco), the VDL stable rider finished eighth in the young horse final. Jourdain finished in fifth place in the 1.35m.
Glamour Girl (Zirocco Blue x Caletto I), bred by Stoeterij Gaesbeek, ridden by Henrick von Eckermann (SWE), placed eighth in the 1.55m class.
Cas 2 was good for fifth place in the 1.50m class under Harrie Smolders. Cas 2 was bred by Th. Tax, Blitterswijck (NED).
Djoost Again (Cantos x Joost), ridden by Eric van der Vleuten (Ned), was fifth in the 1.40m.
