During the international competition in Bedizzole (Italy) on 20 and 21 September 2025, several VDL offspring achieved remarkable performances in the CSI3* classes.
Grand Prix 1m55 – 21 September
In the Big Tour Grand Prix (1m55, against the clock), Portuguese rider Ricardo Benzinho Karle da Costa finished in an impressive third place with Kirocco (by Zirocco Blue). The pair remained clear in both rounds and clocked 50.69 seconds in the jump-off. Kirocco was bred by H. Rooijakkers from Prinsenbeek (NED).
A day earlier, VDL offspring were also successful in the Special 2-phase competition (1m40):
• Kansas VDL (v. Arezzo) jumped convincingly to victory with Pius Schwizer (SUI), clear in 34.52 seconds. Bred by VDL Stud, Bears (NED)
• Morella VG (v. Zirocco Blue) finished in third place with Edy Tanner (SUI), also clear in 36.61 seconds. Morella VG is bred by Van Geel Horses, Erica (NED).
