Leone Jei (v. Baltic) wins Rolex Grand Prix Spruce Meadows

Another top result for the Baltic- son Leone Jei. With rider Martin Fuchs he jumped to victory in the Rolex Grand Prix of Spruce Meadows in Canada with a double clear round. The gelding won the top prize of 1 million Canadian dollars. Leone Jei was bred by G.M. Van Mersbergen.  Elysium, a descendant of Zirocco Blue, ridden by Hans-Dieter Dreher, finished in 4th place. This powerfully jumping Zirocco Blue son was bred by Manfred Tummes from Germany and also came 2nd in the Nations Cup with the German team earlier in the week.

There were more descendants of our stallions who performed strongly in Spruce Meadows, such as a third place by the Angenent family bred Igor GPH (Harley x Crawford) in a 1.50m class. Igor GPH was ridden by Kara Chad. CSF Princess Blue (by Zirocco Blue) finished 3rd in a 1.30m class with rider Bretton Chad.
