THESSALONIKI – A magnificent international success for Orienta by ’t Recht Eind (by Baltic) and Panagiotis Tsaktiris. The pair won the 1.45m Grand Prix at the international show in Thessaloniki. Zirocco Blue’s offspring Matty also secured victory in the Young Riders team competition with Gokalp Danaci.
Orienta by ’t Recht Eind (by Baltic) competed under Greek rider Panagiotis Tsaktiris in the 1.45m Grand Prix, which also served as the individual final of the Balkan Championship for seniors. Baltic, bred by D. D’Haese & K. van Damme, remained clear of faults in both the basic course and the jump-off, thereby securing victory in the Grand Prix.
Matty (by Zirocco Blue) also enjoyed success in Thessaloniki. Ridden by Gökalp Danaci, he competed for Turkey in the 1.30m team competition of the Balkan Championship for Young Riders. The Turkish team won the team competition, meaning Matty also added a fine international victory to his list of achievements. The Zirocco Blue son was bred by G.J. van de Pol.
