Top results for VDL descendants at studbook inspection in IJsselmuiden

IJsselmuiden - Grand Slam VDL daughter Lysandroretto from breeder Piet Dolfsma from Kampen received an excellent 80 points for exterior and 85 for jumping, at the last studbook inspection of Overijssel in IJsselmuiden.

Appealing mare with a lot of technology

Inspector Henk Dirksen was very pleased with Lysandroretto. He explained his verdict: “The Grand Slam VDL is a very appealing mare with a good forehand, a lot of charisma and she is sufficiently in the rectangular model. She has three good basic gaits with a lot of flexibility and lightness. When jumping, she shows that she is a real athlete, and she shows very good reflexes, technique and athletic skills.”

With 70/80, Le Barrage (Grand Slam VDL, bred by Henry Lorist from IJsselmuiden) by J.A. Meuleman from IJsselmuiden became 'ster'. Le Barrage also showed very fast reflexes. Inspector Dirksen: “In addition, she is sufficiently developed, very appealing and shows herself to be very athletic when jumping. She jumps well with the withers up and finishes the jump well behind."

Carrera VDL and Arezzo VDL - daughters show assets

Carrera VDL daughter Legendary Patty K (out of Walzing Patty ster by Radisson) from breeder P. Kamphof from Mastenbroek scored 75/80. "A very appealing mare with a nice forehand, who jumps up extremely well and showed very fast reflexes," said inspector Dirksen.

The four-year-old Katowice Dakota (Arezzo VDL from Dakota elite EPTM-spr PROK by Indoctro, breeder Anrike Trip-van IJzeren) by Petra Strikwerda and Auke de Jong achieved a nice score of 75/80. The inspector was also enthusiastic about this horse: "This mare was already included in the studbook and now showed good imprint, fast reflexes, good jump-off and more than sufficient scope."
