Yesterday evening the 8th edition of the WEF Sport Horse Auction took place at the The Stadium at PBIEC in Wellington, USA. Again VDL Stud flew over a fantastic collection of sporthorses to this annual auction which was organized together with the Wellington Winter Equestrian Festival. Topseller of the auction became the 8-years-old gelding VDL Iowa, a Grand Prix prospect sired by Indoctro. VDL Iowa was sold for $645.000. Overall it was an fantastic auction with an average salesprice of $206.000.
