Candy de Nantuel, P. Leprevost (FRA)
Already at a young age, Candy de Nantuel conquered the hearts of many breeders; the striking chestnut stallion is one of the most popular stallions in France and convinces both in sport and in breeding. Candy de Nantuel's sire Luidam jumped at the highest level with Billy Twomey and produced several very talented showjumpers from a limited number of coverings, including Blue Angel (Kent Farrington & Lauren Hough), Luibanta BH (Amanda Derbyshire), Pewit Nono (Christine McCrea & Billy Twomey), Ginger Pop (Alison Robitaille) and Luikan Q (Ben Asselin & Angelie von Essen). On the dam's side, Candy de Nantuel's pedigree goes back to the French greats Diamant de Semilly and Quidam de Revel - both foundation sires in showjumping breeding.
Dam Thara Nantuel herself jumped at international 1.45m-level with France’s Arthur Deuquet and she also produced the international showjumping talent Cobalt de Nantuel. In addition, Thara's full brother Orphee de Nantuel is licensed by Selle Français and full sister Oceane de Nantuel jumped at Grand Prix level ridden by Titouan Schumacher and Michel Hecart. Oceane de Nantuel is also the dam of international top-class showjumping horse Viceversa de la Roque (Alberto Zorzi) and the international showjumping horses Uthope de la Roque and Atlantic de la Roque. Candy de Nantuel is closely related to the 1.60m showjumper Nature Menardiere ridden by Germany’s Soren von Ronne, Reed Kessler's Pacha de Nantuel and Mohamed Talaat's approved stallion Darshan.
Palmares

Offspring
In breeding, Candy de Nantuel made a great impression with his first sons at the various stallion selections, among which Highland de Riverland and Hot Savoie were approved by the Selle Français.
