Jenssen is one of the first KWPN-approved sons of ‘Foundation Sire to be’ - Harley. Additionally, Jenssen is the first KWPN-approved stallion out of a dam by the ‘Keur’ awarded stallion Zirocco Blue. Currently, sire Harley is without a doubt one of the best sons of the legendary stallion Heartbreaker. Offspring such as Camelot, Charly Chaplin S, Constable II and Arlando are performing at Grand Prix-level every weekend. Some other famous horses by Harley are for example: Earley – two-time World Champion in Lanaken – and Davidson– winner of the Dutch Championships for 7-year-olds and 4th at the World Championships in Lanaken in 2015. Grandsire Zirocco Blue needs no introduction. Guided by Jur Vrieling Zirocco Blue was one of world’s best show jumpers and as a sire his offspring are making their breakthrough at the very highest level. Great-grandsire Jus de Pomme was double Olympic Champion and adds even more scope to the pedigree of Jenssen.

Although Jenssen was bred in Belgium, he has true Dutch roots. His dam line is known throughout the jumper-breeding world - the Sina dam line. Grand dam Persinaa produced the international show jumper Zima AS (by Indoctro) and is a daughter of the famous mare Dersinaa. This daughter of Lucky Boy xx produced the well-known stallion Modesto, who was top of the World Ranking List for many years with his rider Jean Marc Nicolas. Dersinaa is also the grand dam of former Dutch Champion Emmerton VDL with Jur Vrieling. Emmerton produced the promising KWPN-approved stallion Freeman VDL.

Palmares

After a high-profile performance at the KWPN Stallion Show, the Harley-son Jenssen shined again in the KWPN stallion test. Jenssen scored the highest score of 86.5. His canter and reflexes were awarded a 9, and his talent, scope, technique and willingness were assigned an 8.5.

Jenssen has a great character, a gallop with a lot of power and balance, is careful with much scope, and shows great reflexes at the jump.
