Father Matisse de Mariposa is a talented son of Diamant de Semilly out of the half-sister of Flora de Mariposa - Olympic team gold in Rio de Janeiro under Pénélope Leprévost. Matisse de Mariposa is already jumping at 1.45m level under Brazilian Bernardo Alves. Matrix's grandfather Bamako de Muze is then a son of the legendary Darco out of the top mare Fragance de Chalus - dam of Mylord Carthago, among others. Great grandfather Querlybet Hero was bred out of the famous Qerly Chin line and then Nabab de Rêve completes the pedigree of Matrix.

Matrix's dam line is one of the most successful at the moment. Granddam For-Sandi is a daughter of the famous Candy. Under Pieter Devos, this top mare won the Rolex Grand Prix of Calgary in 2013 and in breeding she already produced the 1.60m show jumpers Important de Muze, Intenz by HD, Handy by HD and Gran Canyon by HD.
