Catch Me Not S (by Cardento) fifth in the Grand Prix of Brussel

Last Sunday, the 5* 1.60m Grand Prix of Brussels took place. Despite the rain, 12 combinations were qualified for the jump-off, including the Cardento-son Catch Me Not S and Peder Fredricson. They eventually managed to get a nice fifth place. This year, the duo has ridden six Grand Prix and they were placed five times. Meanwhile, Catch Me Not S (by Cardento) and Peder Fredricson have also won more than €1.2 million in prize money. The Cardento son is bred by Krister Svedberg.

In the 3* 1.45m last Saturday, victory went to Zirocco Blue son Joebon Blue and Richard Vogel. Joebon Blue is bred by W. Vos & A. Blom and has only been a combination with Richard Vogel since this summer. The just nine-year-old Zirocco Blue son already has 18 international wins on his name, including three in the last month.

At the Nations Cup, High Five (by Glasgow vh Merelsnest) and Hortensia v/d Leeuwerk (by Corland) finished second with the Mexican Team. In both rounds, the horses have been very important in the good results and the team finished in a nice second place. The Glasgow v/h Merelsnest son was ridden by Fernando Martinez Shimmer and bred by Heechiem BV. The Corland daughter was ridden by Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane and bred by Ronald Joosen. Both combinations went home with €10,000 in prize money.

There was also success for Indoctro's daughter Jasmijn and Hayley Barnhill, winning the 2* 1.35m. The day before, they managed to finish second in the same class. The Indoctro offspring is bred by W. Kuypers. Another Zirocco Blue offspring, bred by L. van Vegchel, managed to win the 2* 1.40m on Wednesday. With a fraction difference from number 2, Virginie Thonon and Just the Way (by Zirocco Blue) took the win.
