There were 10 foals selected for the finals of the National Foal Championship. Of these 10 foals 7 foals are descending from a VDL Stallion: of Baltic 3 foals were selected, Bubalu  had 2 foals in the finals and also one foal by Harley and one foal by Zirocco Blue was selected.

The Championship was won by the Bubalu-filly Huwerna, bred by mr. S. Moens. Reserve-Champion was  Hyberlino H (Zirocco Blue x Wittinger),  bred by  mr. Hazenberg from Opende.

5th  Hilde Balia SMH (Baltic x Chin Chin), bred by M. Hovenga from Jelsum
6th  Harteveld VDL (Bubalu x Indoctro), bred by VDL Stud
7th  Heraldik V (Baltic x Goodtimes), bred by J. Venema from Gieten
9th Hunter (Harley x Douglas), bred by A. Hassing &  VDL Stud
10th Hyrusa H (Baltic x Corland), bred by A.J. Hazenberg from Opende
