Our 4-year-old stallion Magnus von der Söhr delivered an excellent performance in the GMB competition for 4-year-old showjumpers. Ridden by Alexandre Boursier, the stallion impressed in every qualifying round, consistently jumping at the top and receiving strong scores. In last Friday’s final, the pair once again showed great form. Magnus von der Söhr demonstrated quality, rideability, and power, earning an 8.3 for jumping technique and an 8.5 for his way of going between the fences. These scores secured them a well-deserved second place.

In the finals for the 5- and 6-year-olds, VDL offspring were also well represented. Ollmar VDL (Kallmar × Emilion) and Alexandre Boursier finished just outside the prizes in 12th place.

Top-10 finishes by offspring of VDL stallions included:

• 5th – Hamilton GW Eurohill Z (Hardrock × Guidam), ridden by Geert Jan Boer

• 6th – Ojajaj (Jardonnay × Quasimodo van de Molendreef), ridden by Mel van der Kamp

• 7th – Popeye MC (Liamant W × Arezzo), ridden by Gijs Mosman
