RIESENBECK - Kallmar VDL (Carrera x Indorado) and Jur Vrieling (NED) were again unbeatable, winning the CSIYH1* for six- and seven-year-olds in Riesenbeck (GER).
THERMAL - Ten-year-old Orafina (For Fashion x Canturo), bred by VDL Stud and Y. Walda of Wommels (NED), finished second under rider Kent Farrington (USA) in the CSI5* MLSJ Grand Prix over 1.60m in Thermal (USA).
GENEVE - With two fantastic clear rounds, VDL Edgar M (Arezzo VDL x Marlon) under Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) jumped to victory in the CSI5* competition over 1.60m in Geneva (SUI).

IJSSELMUIDEN - Wonderful news about Sjieke Dame (Chatinue x Guidam) from breeder R. van Dijk: this filly won the title Best Jumping Foal of the IJsseldelta in IJsselmuiden. A Carrera x Indoctro foal placed 2nd and a Chopano x Bacardi 3rd.
TOLBERT - A magnificent day at Jumping Tolbert for Neymar VDL and Chopano VA: Neymar VDL won in the four-year-old class, while Chopano VA was unbeatable in the five-year-old class. Both young stallions are ridden by Suzanne Tepper.
VRAGENDER - Izzlineke (Dakar VDL) won the 1.45m Grand Prix in Vragender with Auke Feenstra. Icanto VDL (Kannan) and Alex David Gill finished third. With Liamant W Gill had three clear rounds in the 1.30m.

BEARS - During the WBFSH World Championship for International Young Breeders about 150 young breeders visited the VDL Stud, where they had the opportunity to make a top 5 for three-year-old mares and a top 3 for foals.
EXLOO - Storlande Gun (Harley VDL X Cavalier), bred by N.S.J. van de Gun from Spier (NED), galloped to absolute victory at the foal championship in Exloo.
RASTEDE - Dressage stallion Zenon VDL became reserve champion at the Oldenburg Landesturnier. Under rider Julia Watzek (GER), the eight-year-old black son of Glock's Zonik N.O.P. x Blue Hors Don Schufro scored 71.061%.

CALEDON - Great successes for Cardento offspring in Caledon (CAN): Dominica van de Lucashoeve (Cardento x Chin Chin) and Susan Horn won the 1.45m. VDL Kyaklahoma (Carrera VDL x Emilion) won the 1.35m with Bianca Lafontaine.
KRONENBERG - Hulahupe JR (Bubalu VDL x Indoctro) and Joe Whitaker (GBR) won the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix in Kronenberg.
ZUIDWOLDE - During the exciting CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m in Zuidwolde, Incanto VDL (Kannan x Indoctro) and Alex David Gill were placed second. Also double clear and sixth were Igor GPH (Harley) and Amke Bekhuis.
The most expensive jumpingbred foal was the imposing Sire HK (Zirocco Blue x Indoctro). The most expensive show jumper was also a descendant of Zirocco Blue, the mare Jolly Karla V was sold for € 90,000.

NISSE - The Central Inspection in Zeeland was a great success for the offspring of Etoulon, sire of the champion mare foal Serlima D, Hardrock Z, sire of reserve colt foal champion Storm, and Zapetero, sire of the 3-year-old mare champion.
AACHEN - Katanga vh Dingeshof (Cardento x Tornedo), ridden by Nicola Phillippaerts (BEL) came in fantastic third in the CSIO5* Grand Prix over 1.60m in Aachen (GER). VDL Cartello (Cartani x Lord) and Darragh Kenny (IRE) finished ninth.
BABOROWKO - Estoril Fortuna (Harley x Indoctro) and Dawid Kubiak (POL) have won the 2* Grand Prix over 1.45 in Baborowko, Poland. Guesssina (Zirocco Blue x Manhattan) and Philipp Schober (GER) won the 1.40m.
HARICH - The Frisian Jumping Championships were a great success for the VDL Stud: champions were descendants of Zirocco Blue VDL (1.00m), Arezzo VDL (1.30m), Harley VDL (1.35) and Corland (1.40m). There were even 5 reserve champions.
TUBBERGEN - The approved stallion Stargos VDL (Stakkato Gold x Conthargos) has won the Jumping for five-year-olds in Tubbergen (NED) ridden by Iris Hakvoort (NED). Stargos proves to be the textbook example of a modern showjumper.

MADRID - The unbelievable has happened: VDL Edgar M (Arezzo) and Cartello (Cartani) VDL finished second in the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix in Madrid. Both remained double clear and completed the jump-off in exactly 39.91 seconds.

KRAKOW - The twelve-year-old mare Fliere Fluiter (Zirocco Blue x Animo) and Jack Ansems (NED) have won the CSI3* Worldcup Grand Prix over 1.55m in Krakow. Zirocco Air (Zirocco Blue x Con Air) and Mateusz Tyszko (POL) won the 1.30m.
SHARJAH - The Nations Cup in Sharjah (UAE) resulted in a nice second place for BBS McGregor (Cardento) and Jack Ryan (IRE).
KEYSOE - Icaterina (Durango VDL x Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve) and Joe Whitaker (GBR) have won the CSI2* Grand Prix in Keysoe over 1.45m.
OLIVA - Geste van de Vitha (Zirocco Blue VDL x Quite Easy I) and Bart Clarys (BEL) finished sixth in the CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m in Oliva (ESP).
LIER - Icarus LH (Etoulon) has won the CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.30m in Lier. Under Sanne Vermeulen (NED), Icarus remained double clear and set the fastest time. Jackpot (Arezzo VDL) and Bo Fievez (BEL) were sixth.

On the second day of the KWPN stallion approvals we have had all 5 stallions put through to the next stage. Oreo VDL was crowned as a Premium stallion!

Wellington FL - Two son's of harley VDL placed in the 1.35m class. 4th Jesmond VDL and 5th Indygo Solier B, both sold in the WEF Sport Horse Auction Wellington FL USA.
VDL stallions showed some impressive figures with a total of 12 offspring in the Grand Prix, including 5 out of Zirocco Blue.
